Description

Bring the windswept Mediterranean coast into your home with Vincent van Gogh's Fishing Boats on the Beach at Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, painted in 1888. The scene depicts a row of colourful fishing boats pulled up on the sand, wet waves edging the shore and small sailing vessels far out to sea. Van Gogh's energetic strokes and bright, airy sky convey a peaceful, breezy light on a working shoreline.

Perfect for coastal living rooms, sunrooms, studies, and gifts for lovers of classic Post-Impressionist art.
