Description

Invite the quiet rigor of a 17th-century studio into your home with this red-chalk study by Abraham Bloemaert from the 1620s. The sheet presents a kneeling, half-draped male figure sketched in warm sanguine strokes, framed by several studies of pointing and folded hands; the aged, spotted paper and economical lines convey an intimate, scholarly atmosphere.

Perfect for art students, drawing rooms, quiet studies, or as a thoughtful gift for collectors of Old Master drawings.
