Description

Bring Vincent van Gogh's early Montmartre view into your home with this intimate scene painted around early 1887. The composition shows a paved promenade bordered by a series of lamp posts, scrubby trees and a simple wooden viewing platform at the right where two figures gaze outward beneath a soft, overcast sky. The cool palette and lively brushwork give the scene a quiet, contemplative air.

Perfect for living rooms, studies, galleries, or as a thoughtful gift for lovers of 19th-century painting.
