Description

Bring Baroque draughtsmanship to your walls with Abraham Bloemaert’s Ceres and Proserpina. Made by a Dutch artist active in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, the sheet shows two semi-nude figures reclining and interacting beneath a sketchy tree, rendered in charcoal, brown wash and white chalk on warm paper. The mood is quietly expressive and intimate.

Perfect for studies, living rooms, libraries and as a gift for lovers of Old Master drawings.
