Description

Bring a piece of post-war optimism to your walls with Henri Lebasque’s 1920 poster L'Emprunt de la Paix. The image places a tender domestic moment — a mother nursing her baby with a child reading beside her — in the lower plane, while construction workers, boats and factory chimneys fill the middle and upper registers, suggesting rebuilding and industry beyond the garden.

Perfect for a living room, study, hallway or as a thoughtful gift for lovers of vintage French posters and historic ephemera.
