Description

Bring a quiet, scholarly presence to your wall with this red-chalk figure study by Abraham Bloemaert, dated to the 16th century. The sheet depicts a headless, robed figure with arms crossed; the artist concentrates on the anatomy of folds and the fall of light across textured fabric on warm toned paper. The drawing feels intimate and contemplative, a close study of craft and observation.

Perfect for studies, libraries, classrooms, offices, or as a considered gift for collectors of old-master drawings.
